Create Sales Price Update Templates
The Sales Price Update Template opens the Sales Price Maintenance Template list. From here, you create unique identifiers for Sales Price Maintenance Templates that are used to update sales prices.
To create a new Sales Price Update Template:
Navigate to the Role Center > Setup > Template Setup > Sales Price Update Template.
Select New from the ribbon.
Name: Create a unique name to identify the new Sales Price Update Template.
No Series: Specifies the number series from which entry or record numbers are assigned to new entries or records.
Posting No. Series: Specifies the code for the number series that will be used to assign document numbers to ledger entries that are posted from journals using this template.
Source Code: Specifies the source code that specifies where the entry was created.
Reason Code: Specifies the reason code, a supplementary source code that enables you to trace the entry.
Page Caption: Specifies the displayed name of the journal or worksheet that uses the template.
From the ribbon, you can select Batches, which opens a list of Sales Price Update Batches for the selected journal template name. You can then select Edit Journal to review the Update Prices from Template Journal page and any price updates.
