    Setting up Cost Types

    Cost Types Cost type is information data that is assigned to each Timesheet line for the Resource. To setup new Cost Types, navigate to the Role Center > Actions > Setup > Project Setup > Cost Types.

    Cost Types can be used for additional reporting and contains the following fields:

    Field Name Description
    Cost Code Specifies a Code to identify the Cost Type.
    Description Specifies information about this Cost Type.
    Cost Type Group Specifies the Group in which to report this Cost Type. Example: Materials, Labor, Other Direct Cost, ,etc.
    Rev/Exp Indicator Specifies if the category for the Cost Type is an Income, Expense, Asset, Liability or Other.
    Sequence No. Sequence to use for reporting.
