Progressus Feature Management
The Progressus Feature Management page gives the ability to add features that will be automatically enabled in future releases.
Enable new features
Navigate to Progressus Feature Management page from the Role Center > Setup > Project Setup > Progressus Feature Management. The Search function may also be used to lookup Progressus Feature Management and select the related link.

However, this new feature provides the ability to display more than 10 lines of data for Expense Sheet Approval. This feature will be required in a future release. |
| Feature Update: Validation check for Reopen Entries | This feature is used to validate Timesheet Entries when posted to ensure that all reversing entries are created when a reopened Timesheet is posted. This feature is enabled in the system automatically. It is recommended to keep it enabled to help ensure accurate posting results. Please contact Progressus Support before disabling to clearly understand the implications of disabling the feature: progressussupport@plumblineconsulting.com |
| Feature Update: Time and Approval More than 10 lines | Current functionality in the Time Approval page displays a limit of 10 lines for approval. However, this new feature provides the ability to display more than 10 lines of data for TimeSheet Approval. This feature will be required in a future release. |
| Feature Update: Fixed Price: Use all budget entries for BC% (FP) Percent complete calculation | Currently, the BC% (Fixed Price) is calculated using both actual and budget costs up to the WIP Until Date. With this feature, an additional method of calculation is available. When the Feature Update: Fixed Price: Use all budget entries for BC% (FP) Percent Complete calculation is enabled in Progressus Feature Management: |
| - Budget costs will include all budget entries, not just those up to the WIP Until Date. | |
| - Actual costs will continue to include only entries up to the WIP Until Date. | |
| Feature Update: Use new sales pricing experience for resources | The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Sales Pricing Experience (Microsoft Pricing) feature for Resources is now available and can be enabled through Business Central Feature Management and Progressus Feature Management pages. This feature enables the use of Microsoft Pricing for both costs and prices of Resources within Progressus. |
| - This feature is valuable if Customer pricing is required. | |
| - This feature does not support True Labor Salary Costs for Resources. | |
| - This feature does not support Resource Sub Group costs/prices. | |
| NOTE: The Sales Pricing Experience feature only applies to Items and Resources. Expenses pricing continues to use the Progressus cost and pricing methodology. This feature does not support Overtime costs and prices. | |
| IMPORTANT: Sales Price Updates in Progressus to modify an incorrect price will not work if Microsoft Resource Pricing is turned on. To correct a Timesheet posting with the wrong price, reopen the Timesheet and reprocess it. | |
| Pages and features that Microsoft Resource Pricing use are: | |
| - Regular and Modern Timesheets | |
| - Sales Order and Sales Invoices | |
| - Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices | |
| - Advanced Project Journal and Time Journal | |
| - Budgets | |
| How to enable the feature: | |
| - The Microsoft Sales Pricing Experience must first be enabled in the Business Central Feature Management page: Feature update: New sales pricing experience. | |
| - Turn on Microsoft Sales Pricing Experience in the Progressus Feature Management page: Feature Update: Use new sales pricing experience for resources. | |
| Important Note: Once Microsoft Pricing is enabled in Business Central Feature Management, Progressus Item Pricing cannot be used. Microsoft Item Pricing cannot be disabled. | |
