How to associate a project to a contract
Once a contract is created, you can associate various projects to it (so billing and other activities can be consolidated) by using these steps:
Navigate to an existing active Project through the Role Center > Projects > Projects.
From the Project Plan navigate to the Project Card by selecting Project > Project Card.
Expand the Posting fast tab.
Contract No.: Select a value for the contract. Specifies the contract number from the contract list if this project is connected to a contract. This will allow review of budget and actual amounts on the contract and the individual project.
Contract Task No.: Select a value for the Contract Task No. Specifies the contract task code from the list of contract tasks. All the budget and usage for a specific project roll up on the contract to one specific task defined here. Multiple projects can be linked to the same task on the contract on the contract (main project).
