Allocation Rate Type

Allocation Rate Types designate a code with an associated percent value for calculating entries to apply costs such as Overhead, Fringe or Burden, General and Administrative, or Fees to the Project. These codes are us󠁲er defined.

  1. Navigate to the Role Center > Setup > Allocation Setup > Allocation Rate Type.

  2. Select New from the ribbon.

Allocation Rate Types

Field Name Description
Rate Type Specifies a code, created by the user with a maximum 2 characters, used in Allocation Hierarchy and Allocation Methods, that has a percentage amount for calculating the allocation entry to the Project. Example: code “OH” might use 10% to calculate the amount to add to the Project for Overhead.
Description Specifies free-form information about the Rate Type.
