Allocation Key Definition List
Allocation Key Definition List: Allocation Keys are database fields the system uses for rate retrieval. Keys include project, task, dimensions, resource group, work types, expense code, GL Account, or resource on the transaction. Example: the rates might be based on a combination of project and work type.
In Allocation Hierarchy you set up a rate level using the project and work type keys, then assign a Direct Rate and/or Billing Rate that is used in allocation processing.
